Mount Baker Lightning Quartz Cabochon
Sourced- Hand-cut & polished by Patrick Williamson
This one-of-a-kind lightning quartz cabochon was hand-cut from stone collected at the Lone Jack Mine, Lulu Vein, located in the Mount Baker District of Washington State in the fall of 2025 by Patrick. The quartz was cut and polished by Patrick in Vero Beach, Florida, preserving the stone’s natural clarity and dramatic internal inclusions that give lightning quartz its name.
The stone features white to clear quartz threaded with striking, lightning-like inclusions formed by tellurium, bismuth, and pyrrhotite — mineral traces that create bold, storm-like patterns within the crystal. Each inclusion is a visual record of intense geological forces, making every piece entirely unique.
Set in a simple, elegant bezel, this pendant allows the quartz to remain the focal point, balancing raw natural energy with refined craftsmanship.
Lightning quartz is often associated with illumination, clarity, and transformation. It is believed to help clear energetic blockages, restore vitality, and guide the release of old patterns to make space for growth. Traditionally connected to both root and crown chakras, it is seen as a bridge between grounding and higher awareness — storm and stillness, earth and sky.
