OFF THE RECORD: Vinyl Art & Decorating Contest Entry — $20
One record. Infinite possibilities.
Artists, makers, and creative people of every kind are invited to join OFF THE RECORD, The Secret Spot’s community creative challenge No. 1
Start with one vinyl record and transform it into an original work of art. Paint it, sculpt it, stitch it, crochet it, collage it, carve it, write on it, build with it, or take it in a direction we haven’t imagined. Create fine art, fiber art, sculpture, assemblage, poetry, photography, fashion, functional art—or something entirely your own.
All media and mediums are welcome. All experience levels are welcome, including professional artists, makers, students, hobbyists, and first-time exhibitors.
Your $20 entry includes
One Secret Spot vinyl record to incorporate into your creation
Entry in the OFF THE RECORD exhibition
Display of your artwork at The Secret Spot
Eligibility for exhibition awards, including community People’s Choice voting
You may also use your own vinyl record to participate.
